Account Suspension & Termination Policy
Last reviewed: 17 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-17-v1
1. Scope
This policy applies to Foreign Employer and Recruiting Agent (RA) marketplace accounts. It does not affect the underlying official RA registration held with the Protector General of Emigrants — the marketplace can only control access to this website's account and marketplace-managed profile content, not a government registration.
2. Grounds for suspension
An account may be temporarily suspended where the platform operator reasonably believes: the account was used for prohibited activity described in the Terms of Use (impersonation, fake job demands, sale of job offers, misleading salary/visa guarantees, unlicensed recruitment, credential attacks, or similarly unlawful/misleading conduct); a complaint against the account is under active review; the account's information appears compromised or fraudulent; or repeated policy violations have occurred.
3. Effect of suspension
A suspended account cannot log in, submit or receive new manpower requirements, or edit marketplace-controlled profile fields. Existing data is preserved, not deleted, while a suspension is under review.
4. Termination
An account may be terminated where suspension grounds are confirmed after review, where a user requests closure of their own account, or where an account has been inactive and unclaimed for an extended period. Terminating a marketplace account does not, by itself, remove a Recruiting Agent's underlying source-derived registration record — that remains subject to the ordinary source-review and re-import workflow described in the Source Attribution & Data Provenance policy.
5. Notice and appeal
Where practical, the account holder will be given a reason and an opportunity to respond before termination (not necessarily before a precautionary short suspension where urgent risk is involved). An account holder who believes an action was taken in error may appeal by writing to office@recruitersfromindia.com.
6. Data after termination
Operational records may be retained after termination for legitimate compliance, security, dispute and audit purposes, consistent with the Privacy Policy's retention section, even though the account itself no longer has active access.
